Chicken Bundles
A simple and delicious appetizer or main dish made with a creamy chicken filling wrapped in crescent roll dough and baked until golden brown.
Ingredients
- 6ozcream cheese (Softened)
- 2cupchicken tenders
- 2tspChicken bullion
- 1/2tspparsley
- 2canPillsbury Crescent Rolls (leave in fridge until ready to use)
- 2Tbsonion (finely chopped onion)
- 1tspGarlic powder
- To tasteSalt
- to tasteground black pepper
Instructions
Boil chicken tenders with chicken bullion until easily shredded. Shred chicken into a medium mixing bowl
Combine the rest of the ingredients except the crescent rolls and mix well.
Open one 8-count package of crescent rolls. Do NOT divide into triangles. Keep every 2 triangles together, forming 4 rectangles.
Pinch the seams closed and pat each rectangle out into a larger square.
Put a spoonful of the chicken/cream cheese mixture into the center of each square. Fold the corners up into the center, layering like flower petals so the roll is sealed. Press seams together to make a bundle.
Repeat with all 8 rectangles across both cans of crescent rolls.
Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 375°F until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
