- 2Avocado
- 1/2tspSalt
- 1cloveGarlic
- 1-2Serrano peppers (Depending on heat preference)
- 1Lime ((or more to taste))
- 2TbsRed Onion (Diced)
- 1Small Tomato (Diced - with seed core removed)

(optional) roast garlic and Serrano peppers in a pan on the stove until softened and slightly blackened all over.

Mash garlic and serrano peppers in a molcajete if you have one. Otherwise, use the broadside of a knife or a fork to mash them into a paste.

Add the avocado flesh to the molcajete (or a bowl) with the pepper – garlic paste and mix in mashing as much or as little of the avocado as you prefer.

Mix in the onions, tomatoes, salt and as much lime juice as you'd like

Serve immediately. If you need to save some, put it in a bowl in the fridge with plastic wrap over the top and press the wrap down onto the surface of the guacamole so there is no air in the bowl. Keeps for up to one day max.
