- water (for steaming)
- ice (for ice bath)

Remove eggs from the refrigerator and let warm to room temperature on the counter.

Place a steaming insert in a saucepan. Add water just below the insert. Bring to a boil.

Place eggs on the steamer, cover, and cook 11 minutes.

Remove from heat and let sit covered for 3–4 more minutes.
